Deformed puppy, rescued from trash, learns to walk | Today
Harper the pit bull was born with a condition called “swimmer puppy disorder,” and most dogs that have it don’t survive. The disorder causes rigid limbs and tight muscles, leaving puppies lying flat on their chests with their legs splayed out.
After being found in a garbage bag and taken to an animal shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized, Harper was rescued by shelter worker Erica Daniel and can walk now thanks to hydrotherapy and love.
I’m launching a new Tumblr today - and it’ll be heavy on big, beautiful, rebloggable pics of all my favorite vintage finds from Etsy, Artfire, Dawanda, Ebay, Zibbet, Sell Simply, etc…. I will posting to that tumblr multiple times a day, so I’d love it if you would follow me! 1st post goes up at 11 EST, and there’ll be a new theme every day! I will continue to post shop-related schtuff here as well, so don’t fret!
Vintage Argus A Plastic Camera from funflash
Every once in a while, I let my eyes wander on over to Etsy shops of other camera savvy girls and guys, and I have to admit, I like what I see. Check out this hot little mod number.
Agfa Silette Pronto Camera with Leather Case from ideabug
How about the two-tone silver on silver action of this midcentury Agfa camera? Super cute.
Cine-Kodak Eight 55 8mm Film Camera from GoodNorth
Or the dead sexy, film noir stylings of this 8mm camera. It’s a real…film fatale. Get it?! Yes, I’m making that a thing.
Vintage Encore Deluxe Disposable Mail-in Camera from That70sShoppe
This is basically the coolest thing I’ve seen all week. It’s the original disposable camera! It even has the mail-in label on the bottom! Getting your film processed locally wasn’t always an option for everyone, nor was paying 5 whole smackaroos for a fancy-ass Kodak box camera.
If you’re a visual thinker/learner/everything-er, then Pinterest is basically the most fun you can have on the internet. Here are my favorite pins of the week…

A Polaroid of Leighton Meester.

A very young Cary Grant, with a puppy in his pocket!

Fabulous vintage babes with balloons!
You can follow me on Pinterest if you like. I’ll totally follow you back.
